1) Here's link to info on the @TobyKeithMusic concert in Laughlin: http://bit.ly/1sNRHoO ! @TobyKeithPeoria @TobyKeithsUSA

2) Brad Paisley joins Hunter Hayes on the list of artists who will go through more than two years worth of touring without setting foot in Arizona.  Paisley last played here was in October 2012 (the same week that Carrie Underwood/Hunter Hayes appeared).

Come on, Brad, you KNOW the suits DON'T want you to schedule a concert here!!!

(If you would like us to call out your country music fave in this list, send us an email.)

3) Here's show/ticket info for @TheTimMcGraw concert in Laughlin 11/8: http://goo.gl/oEr3R9

COMING UP: Taylor Swift Livestream Event On Yahoo Next Monday...During School Day

Taylor Swift will followup this weekend's debut of "The Giver" with a livestream (by definition, "worldwide") event this coming Monday (August 18) at 2:00pm (Arizona Time). (That might make it tough for Arizona fans who will still be in school.)

The event will be on Yahoo;  no word on whether it will be a full-on concert, although she is encouraging fans to host viewing parties.  (Maybe some schools will host the parties.  Or maybe - since there are a lot of fans around the world who will not be able to see it live, there will be a replay(s).)

COUNTRY ARTISTS AVOIDING ARIZONA - 1st On List: Hunter Hayes!

Some country artists make Arizona a must-stop every year - at least once a year for some of them.  Some seem to have a knack for missing us.

First up on our list of the Arizona-avoiders:  Hunter Hayes.  Hayes has not been here since he became a headlining draw.  His last visit to Arizona was October 21, 2012, when he opened for Carrie Underwood.

655 days (as of 8/7/14) and counting.

If not a concert, then Arizona's Country at least wants an explanation!!!

Hunter: You've played Colorado Springs, SLC, Indio and San Diego this year.  All are close by, but too far for many of your fans!

Your name, your name, your name, would look good on a Phoenix marquee! (And my daughter would like to see your face up there, too!)

(Please feel free to Tweet or email us other artists that you believe are avoiding Arizona!)

ARIZONA'S COUNTRY TV ALERT: Luke Bryan On Channels 15, 9 Tomorrow

VIDEO: ABC's Nightline Profiles Hunter Hayes' Fundraising/Guiness Record Concert Swing

ABC concluded its big night of country music yesterday on Nightline, breaking out their 5-minute report/interview from Hunter Hayes' May compact concert tour.  (Even older than the Night to Rock show itself - at least Jake Owen on Jimmy Kimmel was fresh!)

By the way, it is worth noting that Hayes has not been in Arizona for nearly TWO YEARS now!

CHECK IT OUT: Jake Owen Sings New Single and Revoltin' Comedy Song On Jimmy Kimmel

Jake Owen was on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show last night - ABC went full-out country last night.  He not only gave a great performance of his new cool-change-of-pace single, "What We Ain't Got"...

<iframe width="1280" height="720" src="http://abc.go.com/embed/VDKA0_59uke5oo" frameborder="0"></iframe>

...but he came on in the opening monologue segment to perform a PSA/novelty song that Kimmel refused to toast at the end:

I just hope that Arizona's drought situation improves before Jake comes back around this way. On the other hand, it might be kinda fun to shout out a request for it. (Eh, he's probably already forgot the lyrics!)
